Apha

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, and a weekend away. It is a chance to discuss the meaning of life, ask questions, and hear about the basics of what Christians believe.

If you are not a church-goer and have questions about the Christian faith

If you want to investigate whether God exists

If you attend church occasionally but feel you never really understood the basics

If someone close to you is a Christian and you would like to understand them better, consider joining us for Alpha!

The weekly discussions take place in a home, and the first is an introductory dinner where you can get a feel for the course. All questions and perspectives are welcome.

“If you want a no-holds-barred, open and honest discussion, you can bring all the questions and things that annoy you about anything to do with Christianity or religion to Alpha. You ask it, listen to what has got to be said and then make a decision. If you never ask the questions, you‘ll never get any answers, and if you never give it a go you‘ll never know whether it was right or wrong, good or bad.” -Scott

“What Alpha offers, and what is attracting thousands of people, is permission, rare in secular culture, to discuss the big questions- Life and death and their meaning.” -The Guardian

The course will be held weekly on Thursday nights. For more information, or to put your name down to attend the introductory dinner on April 23rd, contact:
