We count it a privilege to share in the significant events in people’s lives. They can be a joyous occasion like baptisms and weddings, or a time of grief like funerals. Do get in touch with us if we can be of help to you.
Baptisms
We offer infant, child and adult baptisms. If parents wish, we can also offer thanksgiving and dedications for babies and children.
Weddings
We love celebrating the gift of marriage. A wedding is one of life’s significant events where a man and a woman commit themselves to each other. To help you in your journey towards marriage, we run a pre-marriage course to give you tools to build a strong, healthy marriage and to help you plan and prepare for your wedding. Our clergy are also available to conduct weddings.
Funerals
Death of a loved one can be one of the most difficult time in one’s life and we would like to be there to guide and support you at your time of loss. Contact us if you need to talk to someone about the support you need.
St James' Church has a private cemetery for the use of past or present members of the parish and those who have family members already buried in the cemetery or interred in the Memorial Wall. If you are interested, please contact the church office for more information.
