I am new to church

Location & Service Times

One of our strengths is the wide range of worship services and worship styles we have which cater to a variety of needs and people. We hope you will find one that meets your needs.

Service times

a wide range of worship services and styles:
  • Traditional Communion
    at St James'

    Sundays, 8.45am
St James’ is an intimate and beautiful building which is the perfect setting for our traditional communion service. We follow the communion service from the NZ Prayer Book, and our singing is led by the St James’ choir. You are assured of a warm welcome if you come to this service.
  • Family Worship
    at St Timothy’s

    Sundays, 10.15am
A service for the whole family including Little Lights creche for pre-school children, our Sunday School Lighthouse Kids for children aged 5-11, and Prism for age 11+. Our worship has a contemporary and relaxed feel, whilst following an Anglican structure. We encounter God through music, biblical preaching and in sharing bread and wine. There’s always morning tea after the service and a great community feel.
    at St Timothy’s

    Sundays, 6.30pm
Rekindle is an informal worship gathering where we share a meal, hear from God’s word and pray together. We’re a community of all ages, with a particular ministry to young adults. It is specially geared for those who enjoy a gathering that focuses on relationships.
  • Midweek Fellowship & Communion
    at St Timothy’s

    Wednesdays, 10.30am
Our Wednesday congregation is a friendly and fun-loving group. We start with morning tea and fellowship at 10.30am followed by a simple communion service at 11:00am.
