Location & Service Times

St James’ is an intimate and beautiful building which is the perfect setting for our traditional communion service. We follow the communion service from the NZ Prayer Book. You are assured of a warm welcome if you come to this service. On the 1st Sunday of every month at 9.30am we run a communion service from the Book of Common Prayer.

A service for the whole family including Little Lights creche for pre-school children, and Kids 4 Christ - Sunday School for ages 5-13. Our worship has a contemporary and relaxed feel, whilst following an Anglican structure. We encounter God through music, biblical preaching and in sharing bread and wine. There’s always morning tea after the service and a great community feel.

We are an evening congregation that desires God centred growth, discipleship and worship. We desire to:

• be an intentional and loving community with a youthful flavour
• have talks that are interactive or feature a Q&A time
• grow in God through worship and the message

Come and enjoy an easy dinner together at 5.00pm. After dinner we transition into a talk/video followed by discussion. This is an exciting and growing intergenerational community.

Our Wednesday congregation is a friendly and fun-loving group. We start with morning tea and fellowship at 10.30am followed by a simple communion service at 11:00am.
